Mothers day pics

just wanna share to you the pics that i took last mothers day...i know every husband has its way how to show their love,thoughtfullness to the woman who become the mother of their children.And my hubby did really a good job on making me feel so special last mothers day...He pampered me for the whole weekened. as in i start celebrating my mothers day saturday and it continues till sunday..hehehe..i have already gotten my mothers day gift before may 13...it always happen like that, i always get my gifts before the actual date of celebration..i got a new cellphone and of course cash for shopping..

Saturday may 12,greg makes my favorite food for lunch and for dinner, me and my hubby had our dinner date at our fav restaurant here..its a kind of romantic place..i really like the ambiance of the place..its dim and we have a candle in our table..its a buffette style but the meat will be served by the waiters in your table...we didnt bring elijah with us of course..hehehe we just want to have a quality romantic time with each other...Thankfully greg's officemate was so kind enough to babysit elijah for us...
I had so much fun and my stomach has fun too..hehehe my bulati inside had a feast too for all that good food i put in there...we pick up elijah around 8 pm.

At May 13 we make ourself ready for our trip to forth worth museum..greg and elijah got in the car first while me, still making sure that we bring everything..you know stuff for the baby..when i get in the car i saw a pink card on my sit...yup! its a card from my boys..greg is trying to let elijah sign the card. pero duh gi weres weresan ra tawon sa akong anak ang card...i like the message that greg's wrote...it really touch my heart....heheh i always have this feeling that i am not a good mom to elijah and a good wife to greg. and him telling me how great i am and how thankfull he is for having me, was just something for me...

i felt so much loved..i got a card from my mom in law and a call from her too...

I am so happy and thankful to the person or whoever they are, the one who introduce or give an idea to let the world celebrate a mothers day...at least give all the mothers a day to be honored..coz i tell you, being a mom is not that easy...they put their life at risk just to deliver their baby...as what my mom said, kapikas daw sa ilang tiil tua nag ang ang sa kamatayan...plus the nursing and lack of sleep...imagina lang na...

anyhow, i just wanna say thanks to all my friends who keep on peeping my site...your time was really appreciated..bisan wala update kanunay jud gihapon mo bisita diri...thanks jud...mwaaahhh

Look What The CAt Brought IN

One week after being born, six baby skunks were abandoned by their mother. Luckily, we had just weaned five kittens off of our resident farm cat a day before and hoped that perhaps she might take them on as her own. She was reluctant at first, but she let them nurse - a positive sign. Two weeks have gone by and the six little "Stinkers" are thriving and their new mom couldn't be happier. She has become quite devoted to them and even carries them around to show them off to visitors.

I was so impressed of what this cat did..wow! its so nice of her to take care and nurse this 6 abandoned skunks...

Bed Sheets
After drying sheets, put both sheets and one pillowcase in the other pillow case. Fold neatly in a square. Next time you change sheets, you just take the one pillow case and all the sheets and pillow case are inside. No need to look for matches.

Clean your glass shower
To clean the glass in your shower easily, apply lemon juice to the glass with a sponge. Then, take newspaper and wipe the lemon juice off the glass. It will be clean and sparkle with no scrubbing!

REHEAT PIZZA
Heat up leftover pizza in a non-stick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.

EASY DEVILED EGGS
Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.

Expanding Frosting
When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar/calories per serving.

REHEATING REFRIGERATED BREAD
To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.

NEWSPAPER WEEDS AWAY
Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers put layers around the plants overlapping as you go cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.

Broken Glass
Use a dry cotton ball to pick up little broken glass pieces of glass-the fibers catch ones you can't see!

NO MORE MOSQUITOES
Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.

SQUIRREL AWAY!
To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.

Easier thank you's
When you throw a bridal/baby shower, buy a pack of thank you cards for the guest of honor. During the party, pass out the envelopes and have everyone put their address on one. When the bride/new mom sends the thank you's, they're all addressed!

Bicycle Identification
If you purchase a new bike for your child, place their picture inside the handle bar in a sealed baggie before placing the grips on. if the bike is stolen and later recovered, remove the grip and there is your proof who owns the bike.

Flexible vacuum
To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.

Reducing Static Cling
Pin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and -- voila -- static is gone.

Measuring Cups
Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill it with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry the cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out.

FOGGY WINDSHIELD?
Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth!

Reopening Envelope
If you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Voila! It unseals easily.

CONDITIONER
Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's a lot cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair...

GOOD-BYE FRUIT FLIES
To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dishwashing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!

GET RID of ANTS
Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it "home," & can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, esp. if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

Take baby powder to the beach
Keep a small bottle of baby powder in your beach bag. When you are ready to leave the beach sprinkle yourself and kids with the powder and the sand will slide right off your skin.

update for emelyn's bday

To all our kaberks from denton,mc kinney, and forth worth na hindi nakasama sa adventure namin last sunday, gusto lang naming ipa alam na me plan kaming na bou with regards to emelyns bday party...cguro nakatanggap kayo ng email from her na cancel yong party nya sa house nila...

at dahil dyan we have made a plan to have a birthday party for her at hawaiian falls sa colony.. i to yong website..http://www.hawaiianfalls.com/ pick nyo ang colony..since it's an outdoor activities, you can bring your hubby and chikitings with you too para mas masaya..kkb tayo or kanya kanyang bayad..di natin pabayarin si emelyn at baka first nya na hindi sumipot sa party..hahahahah..andyan din ang direction papunta don.
